had another decent day, started off with two nice sized dollies, hooked up with four steelies and took one home. 5-6 pounder. first ever steelhead on a pink worm. bite was slow and water was too low and clear, but i managed to sight fish for a little bit. stop at holiday sports and pick up some pink bait wieghts to keep the rubber worm just off the bottom while float fishing. they also have glow in the dark. also hooked up using a pink and purple jig, and most of the fish were hiding next to rocks in the slow water. sorry no pic. at least i was able to have some action on my birthday.

Nice!! Happy birthday bro! I was there also. Next to the hatchery. Only saw 2 fish hooked there. We got there alittle late. Place was packed with a lot of newbies who doesn't know the casting order. Congrats on the catch!!

Thanks! And yes, i was at scotts, just 6-7 feet inside from the seam, i was able to catch glimpses of four to five steelhead, but getting them to bite was a bitch, but that's how i caught the one on the pink worm. takes a lot of focus to make out those fish on the bottom though, and there is a very short window of time that you can see them for.
