I headed down to the green river gorge this morning just a little north of the pautzky salmon ponds. The water was crystal clear and was running just perfect for fishing. I worked a couple of great looking holes but no takers, I slowly worked my way down stream towards the ponds where a few other people fishing, they ended up leaving shortly after I arrived, about 5 min later I hooked up with a nice steel. She fought very well and even tried to catch the fast moving current in the center of the river but I was able to take control and get her in. I fished for another hour but was unable to get another one. As I was leaving I watched some guy hook up but he ended up losing it a few min later. Overall it was a great day !!!
