First time steelhead fishing. Caught 1 hatchery hen 24 inches long. Used a silver blue fox size 3 with a whole worm. Ran into a local fisherman who caught an 18 inch bull trout. Cool looking fish.
The Tucannon River is by far the coolest river I have ever fished on. Not too many places you can wade thigh deep for miles on end and catch some big fish. Will be back soon.
