Went to the Wynoochee with a friend in a guided driftboat. Floated from the 7400 put in to White Bridge. Cold as it could be in the morning with ice on the guides but a beautiful sunny day all the way down the river. Didn't hit a thing until 6 hours into the drift when my float finally went down and I hooked and landed a nice 12+ hatchery hen. My buddy missed a couple quick takedowns on a pink worm under a float but that was it for a very long day of fishing. We were expecting a lot better from the latest reports but didn't see another fish caught around us. Heard of a few landed when we took out but I'll bet it was less than a fish a boat. However I did get my first winter fish of the season to break an annoying slump so that is a big plus. It is still early for the run on the Nooch so I hope to hit it again in the near future. Tight lines and good luck to all.
