Hit the Clearwater River for the weekend with two friends and had beautiful weather both days. This time of year attracts a lot of fisherman but we managed to find some good spots even though it was shoulder-to-shoulder at times. Fishing wasn't hot, but we ended up bringing home 3 hatchery fish and released 3 nice wild fish. Had a few other missed take downs. Caught most of our fish on orange beads and it looked like most fisherman catching fish were using beads as well. Took us awhile to figure out our depth, but once we did our success improved. Also, still trying to figure out how to fish with beads and the right setup since beads seem to be outfishing marabou jigs 2 to 1 right now.
