Summary at Pine Lake:
We got our fish in a frenzy between the 2 of us. Only a couple other people on boats seemed to be really producing limits of trout, for others it was somewhat poor fishing. About 25-30 fishermen on the pier, about 8 other boats on the water. We slayed them on our new secret lures. Released many more between and after catching our limits. Fish were just sitting on the top 10 feet or so of the water column, little rings all over when the wind didn't blow some ripples onto the lake. The Flyfisherman we talked to were having decent to poor catch rates. Probably fishing for 5 hours, mostly trolling, and caught our 10 and released about another 10 and probably had 40-45 bites (had action all the time) today between two of us trolling on a Sevylor Fish Hunter with bites from the Rainbows between 7:30 am and 1:45 pm while taking several pit stops for food and the bathroom. Great time to go fish Pine Lake, but the fish are smaller this year in every lake it seems, and in Pine they are around 9 to 9 1/2 inches, some smaller and very few bigger, but nothing much pushing 10 inches. Good Luck!
