well hit the skagit early mon morning. there was nothing open for bait or tackle. the parking lot was full and under water. there was a couple teachers fishing that were nice enough to give me some sand shrimp and a watermelon black wing spin and glow. long time before i got a bite and landed this nice hen. had 2 more bites one i hooked and he poped off andnother was a short bite. the teachers lost a couple, one came out the water and jumped right in a tree and he was gone. river was very high and glad i threw my waders in the car so i could get to a good spot. was a nice day and going to try and hit it one more time before skagit closes. i was down in burlington east of burlinton road area. the other pic is an eagle stealing a fish lol.
