On Saturday and Sunday I took my Nephew Stephen fishing at my favorite lake.
This was his first fishing trip and he he seemed to catch on fairly quickly to
this great sport. He ended up out fishing me on Saturday catching his limit in an hour.
All the fish that we caught were small stockers but enjoyment came at each turn of the reel. I set him up with a full tackle box and the gear to get started. He caught all his fish trolling small pop gear with a worm laced wedding ring.

On Sunday he only caught 2 fish but lost several in the 3 hours of fishing. He did get to learn a valuable lesson on this day as it is not how many fish you catch but how much fun you have. He also had the opportunity to view the lake eagles catch fish which was also a first for him. For a 10 year old he handled this pretty well.
