Saw 4 of them hanging out below the railroad bridge at the Gold Bar big eddie access. Threw everything I had at them (Eggs, sand shrimp, trout beads, yarn flies, and a vibrax) couldnt get them to bite. Was using a 10lb florocarbon leader, which migh have been to big due to the low water levels and high visibility. This is my first year fishing down here in WA and havent caught anything yet. Hoping this year wont be a bust... Any tips, thoughts, hints?

My dad always told me that if you can see a fish, they can see you. They won't bite, especially as smart as a fish that has avoided seals, sharks, killer whales, eagles and people long enough to make it back to spawn. Like Jimbo said, first light, crawl, or fish far enough away you can't see into the water you are fishing. Good Luck!!

first light or fishing shady spots, be as sneaky as can be, use the lightest line you can, at least 6lb. Small beads, jigs, hooks, ect.
If possible fish as far upstream or preferably downstream from the fish as possible
