went to try the Samish after hearing nothing but great things... i went to the i5 bridge and walked down i covered alot of river while i was there, i say a couple on strings and 2 fish in the river in the 3.5 hours i was wondering around watching different holes and runs. met some nice guys that said it was slower then usualy and told me the spots i was are are usually producing holes just not today. talked to one land owner. he told me his properey ran to the deepest part of the river.... thats news to me.

had a goood time but i think before i go back i might need to research more or go the sky (god i hate highway 2)

The land owner is wrong, land owners cant own the river that run through their property even if they say they own it. Owners land deeds don't include rivers that run through their land. Technically its state or federal property. As long as you walk in the river you are fine.

Where is there public parking to enter the river at the I5 bridge if you don't mind me asking?
