Hit the Duwi again this morning before work. Went 1 for 2.

The first one was this guy. Not really big, maybe 4-5 lbs.

After this one, I retired my mainline to the swivel.

I got a second strike not too much longer, and my mainline broke when I set the hook. I checked and didn't appear to break at the knot. I probably had a kink or nick in my line somewhere

I've been having trouble with my mainline not holding, been using 10lb Pline Flouroclear. I really like how it casts, and its' very limp which is nice on my spinning reel. But it just doesnt seem to be holding for me. Anyone else have problems like this with this line? I really like the Maxima, and use it for my leader, but I find it too stiff to use on my spinning gear. Just doesnt cast as well.

I'm going to try and up the Pline to 12lb and see how it goes. A little heavier than I like to use (rod is rated 6-10lb), but hate losing a fish on a solid hookset because my line breaks.

Going out again tomorrow, it's been pretty hit or miss for me on the Duwi (unless a couple of guys on here, who seem to have this river dialed in :-)
