Went back out to Coulon to revenge my lost fish! Arrived at 6:30 and fished untill 8:29 without even a single bite. However at 8:30 the evening changed and I pulled in a nice 3lb or so smallie!

I switched from watermelon/lemon senkos ( my largemouth killer) to a Black/Blue tipped Guido Bug.. seeing that the smallmouth fishing is where it is at right now.

Also to note, I was not fishing for perch but there were 3-4 groups of people that were and being quite successful. Many perch 9 inches or so were caught in the short time that I was there. It appeared that most were using worms or worm tipped lures.
