10/1/2012 7:24:00 PMNo, we are fishing from a flat back old town canoe with a 4 h.p.. The river near Montasino is good for all boats, we have issues with criminally rude drivers blowing by us 15 yards away at full throttle raising 3 to 4 ft. wake. enough to make you want to throw a nice egg sized piece of gravel.Launch is also a zoo with really rude jerks starting the day off on a negative note. Just a note , my wife unloads our gear even slower when you say rude things like" why don't you hurry up and get out of our way?"I think these "people" need a wake up call, this stuff may fly on the Cowlitz(which is why we don't fish it) but the Chehalis is a family oriented river with small boats around Montisino.
