So went out today in search of some new spots. First spot was to shallow and moving to fast for me but I could see another spot down at another bend. Hop in the car, park and walk down to it. Noticed someone else was there earlier due to foot tracks. No biggy. Walked out in ankle deep water and immediately notice there is a very deep hole. As soon as I start floating eggs fish begin jumping/rolling like crazy. Switch up to a different brine of eggs and not soon after the water pretty much came to a dead stop. Began tossing out some vibraxs and not 10 min later fish on!!! Fought him for about 20 sec and he decided to spit the hook. Decided to call it a night. All in all I really enjoyed today on the water finding a new spot. I look forward to tomorrow taking my newly tied jigs I forgot to bring and do some twitching in this hole. Until tomorrow!
