Fished the skagit with my dad and my friend along with our 2 short hair pups in the drift boat from friday to sunday and had a blast. I had limited out everyday while my friend and dad only got 1 each the whole weekend. Most were a little dark but we got 3 chromers too. Biggest fish was my 16lb buck, wow that was a hawg! Eggs seemed to be the ticket but the key is to switch it up a little every once in a while. Water is super clear and the cascade has some fish but not much, also saw some good size schools moving up river on our way to the launch.
Another highlight of the weekend was not only watching all the salmon roll and jump but one client of a guide service took his first cast and landed half way up a tree haha pretty funny. The people that know what they are doing are hooking up with ease but those that do not are not doing as well. Good Luck!

I only saw 2 schools of 10-20 move up so I do not know how many where in rockport. There are still a lot of fish where I fished at but I think they decided to just start trickling in, saw some below the bridge on the cascade and there were some good schools at the mouth of the cascade as well.
