Had a few clients who wanted to nail their first kings this week, so made 2 trips to the samish. WOW there are a lot of fish around, getting chrome is a different story. I saw chromers in the river, but when you get nailed by a 25 lb dark fish your required to kill it, lol. we did nail a smaller CHROME king about 8 lbs early today, then dark fish until a limit, yesterday we hit a few nicer fish, got a 28lb dark buck and a 27lb half chrome bronzey hen (both with red meat!) and some other nice big 25+ pound bucks. All on eggs, bite is early, released some coho and a chum too, lots of fish to go around! Here is some pics!
