10/10/2012 1:30:00 PMIn general (don't need a specific spot) where were you fishing at? I ask because I do alot of Kayaking in the Robe Canyon just outside Granite Falls and have always wondered if Coho got up there in decent shape of if they were thrashed by that point.

10/10/2012 9:23:00 PMNo secrets on this LITTLE river, not to mention only a small stretch of it is open. I have been fishing low, from Pioneer Hwy to the Norman Rd bar. Fish are ALL stacked low. There are "some" in holes up to Arlington, and above, but there are THOUSANDS holding down low right now waiting for the rain.
I have fished about 7 days in the past 2 weeks with limits each and every outing. Hooked 9, landed 5 on Sunday, all released (freezer is full). Get down to the lower river tomorrow, or Friday before the rain. After the rains the fish are going to be upriver. I suspect within 2 days of the hydrograph falling a good number of these fish will be ALL the way up and hitting the gravel.
