Well first my dad and i met up with my uncle and his kid and went to al borlin park. Stayed for about 30 min, water was high. After that drove to the wallace and geeez talk about busy. At first we just walked behind the hatchery to check things out and they still wanted to fish so we did. I used eggs the whole time and got many downs but 8 hook ups only. 2 jacks and 2 adults landed. 1 adult i handed off to my little cousin so he could fight a fish. The other hook ups i had were on for a bit but then the hook popped out. After i ran out of bait i proceeded to take my filet knife out to gut my fish and i went to chop some of the blackberry bushes and broke my knife. I felt stupid for breaking a knife on that bush. Something that was pretty cool that happened was that for a while everyone fishing that spot was useing a float and eggs. A few of us were getting downs consistently but the others seemed new to float fishing or had store bought eggs. So i took home 1 buck, saw another steelhead taken, and 2 more bucks taken from the area i was fishing. Quite a few were released as well. so I got to say today was a good day
