10/23/2012 9:21:00 AMGet your collection ready for Chum time, they are starting to hit the river hard. I went down last night for 20 minutes on my way home and popped 2 in the chops, both on a lime Chumsicle.

10/23/2012 10:29:00 AMPurple is a great Chum color but I still have Green in my patterns for sure. My favorites in order are the Fire Lime Chumsicle, the Scarlet Harlet and the Bruised Hooker. In general I add some green into each pattern, and I always have two variations ready on any given day for the water color. One is with green as the base color and the other is with Green as the Shell color. When I say green I mean Chartruese not green because they are two different colors. For chum, I like the red flash, and I will often times tie in some buck hair under the rabbit tail if I am trying for that large and in charge look, it really keeps the bodies big and moving. The scarlet harlet works really well with Green as the Base color.
