Started out on the great Skykomish today, Ben Howard road area, the weather was a mixed batch of tricks, but when the sun came out from time to time it was beautiful with all the leaves changing and what not. I tried throwing a drift setup with a small pink and white corkie with black dots and a gumball size chunk of roe. Did not have to much luck with that, tried a few other drift setups with no luck. Packed up and headed to the wallace, what a joke that was. The only people catching fish were intentionally snagging them, AND KEEPING as well...I did not see 1 guy that was fishing legitimately mouth hook, or snag a fish, it seems like snagging and retaining has gotten out of control this year. Oh well, all in all any day of fishing is better than work and the scenery was great as well, the snow looks to be encroaching on us. Have a good day folks!
