Met up with a friend and went with a guide down the Humptulips. On the water from 7am to 5pm.
Saw about 10 boats on the water. Lots of kings caught at the helicopter hole and on various other holes and under brushpiles down the river, however not on our boat. Saw many kings in the 15# - 20# range caught and color looked good on most of them. Don't know what was wrong with our eggs, but couldn't get any takers. Caught a few chum on kwickfish, but who goes clear to the Hump just to catch dogs. Hooked one small sliver on eggs, but lost it next to the boat. Tons of fish rolling. A long day for just a few fish landed by us, but they're out there and other guys seemed to be doing well.
