Fishin out of the sled today! launched in town and ran up to one of my favorite chum and silver spots for side drifting. Did a few passes in the boat and didnt get any hook ups but seen fishing rolling. so we diceded to park it in the bank. first cast and i got hit on the drop! scared the crap outta me. fish goes crazy peeling off line, running up and down the river. SNAP!!!! leader gives up. switched to the thick stuff and got another fish after about 15 min. nice little hen. then fish pretty much every 10-15 min after that. two of us fiahing probably hooked 20+ and banked 9. i actaully had to take a break at one point, these fish are killer on the arms. ALL CHUM RELEASED. my buddy kept a nice fat coho hen.

we were bouncing oversized yarnies in green and bright green and purple, and usings corkies and yarn. got two fish twitching big fluffy chartruse and purple jigs.

Was defenitly a great day on the river!

Thanks for the report. What a blast! I love the way Chum fight. They are seriously crazy.
