i got started late today...i finally got to the the banks of the lower granite dam lake (near the WSU crew team boat house) at about 3:30pm. the weather was overcast and it was raining over and on. the first 30 minutes of fishing were pretty uneventful, then the fish came out to play. every two minutes i saw fish jumping out of the water all over me. about 45 minutes in to fishing i caught a 10-12 inch small mouth bass (i did not have my measuring board with me so, that is jut my guess). Since this was a small one i decided to kiss it for good luck and tossed it back into the water... I did not catch anything else the rest of my time fishing....about 2 1/2 hours in to my late day of fishing, the rain and wind decided to pick up and about 6pm the water so choppy and wind was so strong, i was not able to cast out too far from shore. i decided at that point to pack up and head back home...

Although i only caught one fish, it was a good couple of hours of fishing...
