Fished again on both 11/08 & 11/09. Certainly was nice to fish in the sun! Yesterday was a highlight b/c I FINALLY convinced my Pops to go give it a try. He only fishes Alpine Lakes and is used to being ecstatic over 10"-20" trout in those lakes when backpacking. Needless to say, he spent more time fighting fish than he spent trying to catch. He only foul-hooked ONE out of endless action and kept a nice shape 14LB hen for smoker. It was the most excited I have seen him fishing in yrs and he fishes about 25x a yr. Once rain comes again, maybe some fresher-condition ones will come in for loading up smoker or just fighting. Both Thursday & Friday, it was endless action w/ nearly ALL pounding down on corkies. There is a lot of room, so I suggest if you want a good fight and lots of them, hit up the Sky and Wallace. Everyone I run into 3-5 times a week is in great spirits. One guy hit a winter Steelie, another got a chromer Coho shockingly. See ya on the river if you can make it!
