Arrived at Silver at around 6:00 a.m. with My brother Andy and James a friend from work and Amy my niece. Lake was smooth as glass and the fish were finning all over the place. My brother was the first to throw his line in and within 2 minutes he had a 11" inch rainbow on the dock. He caught the next two within 20 minutes which were about 10" each. During that time span his daughter caught 2 that were around 9-10" each and I caught one about 11". So within 1 hr. of getting our poles wet we had 6 Rainbows on the stringer, James was getting skunked "UNTIL" the little phlip found the spot and then he was off to the races. He landed 4, 9"-11" bows within 25 minutes just before noon, then things slowed down. We all wound up catching our limit by the time we pulled our poles out of the lake at 4 p.m. We did all of out fishing form the dock as my brothers boat was in the shop for repair ( Thats another story for another day)...LOL. Everyone on the dock was friendly and the whole experience was relaxing. Oh yeah, we used green and orange power bait on sliding sinkers and single and treble hooks with 6 pound test and 28" leader. Can't wait to go back in the boat and hit the deeper parts of the lake. "Keep your line tight and the inside of your waders dry" and happy fishing.
