this may be a far fetch but I left a custom made rod 11'6" pacbay rod that said " joe the slayer hong" on it with a shimano curado...also a fetha styx 9'6" spinning with a shimano reel...I left it at the parking lot on the highway side...if you picked it up that would be really cool if you would return it to me

my phone number is 425-530-8013...email joechiro30@hotmail.com

besides losing my rods fishing was super slow...not even a bite and didn't see anyone catch anything...what a shiddy day!!!

Did you not read the report pac? Sorry about your loss. I lost my pack a few years back and somebody actually called and gave it back after i put up flyers. So it does happen.

That sucks. Hopefully someone honest found your rigs. I lost my wallet at the Texaco station at Goldbar the one next to the Trailer Park, that was "far fetched".

You might try posting your loss on Piscatorial Pursuits and Game Fishing.Com, if you haven't already. I will bet that 9 out of 10 people that fish that spot would try to find the rightful owner so hopefully you didn't find a douche that wouldn't. I had a couple occasions where I left rods behind(I luckily remembered quickly and got them back) so now the only place I will set rods in the parking lot is leaning on my driver's side rear view mirror. Hard to drive off without them.....
Fishing sucked for me, too. Fished from 7 AM to 1 PM and didn't touch a thing. Got to meet KZOO on my way out so that was cool.

Thanks everyone for your sympathy fellow fisherman know the magnitude of losing steelhead fishing rods and gear since they don't come cheap. I will definitely put my rods in the truck first and not leave them anywhere else! I did the same thing in my early twenties too excited to sleep. I placed my rods on the ground and left them there. Fishing can get expensive if this becomes a habit!!

Not sure if the good Samaritan would want a shout out, but if he doesn't mind how about letting us know who he is so we can buy him a beer.

Thanks for the jigs Joe! and congrats on that fish too. That day happened to be my birthday and an most miserable rainy fishing day too. I ALSO found a bunch of credit cards and $46 on the ground in town and was able to find the owner as well. In the end helping people out made me feel alot better than just having 'things'. Now if only I could've gotten that bday fish! See you in the water!
