12/25/2012 2:21:00 PMUp until 5 days ago,i had not broken off a steelhead on the Snoqualmie.... then not that far from where you were I had one break my leader in the middle....10 min later another got off by bending my jig hook...........guess there are some bigger fish around....fun using the lighter tackle though, great job getting that one in the cooler.....got a limit in 40 min a few days ago, no one around.....stay away from the crowds, enjoy your Christmas dinner!

Tried to re post with the correct information, but it did not come back up with the changes. Oh Well Tight lines to all.

12/26/2012 5:43:00 AMIn looking at the fin, I would say it is a half clip, the fish I have been catching have looked like that,the fin not rounded on the top, but I can't say for sure...some have nothing at all, some the half clip, but both are very different from unclipped, always good to check very close before you even land it though-good point!

12/26/2012 7:14:00 AMIn response to w-steelhead-wa claim that the fish had adipose fin. Everybody that saw the fish on the river, and especially the spey casting fisherman who was fishing next to me, and help me land it were in complete agreement that the fin was clipped. This is not my first day on the river and I'm well aware of the regulations.. Also showed it to numerous people when walking to my vehicle, and everybody who looked at it and said it was a archery fish. I DO NOT KILL NATIVE FISH, it is very rare that I even kill a fish. Most of the time I return them to the river. The main reason I kept this fish, was he was so warn out from the fight, I'm not sure he would have lived. I take offense to your comments.

12/26/2012 9:59:00 AMNice fish, & definitely a clipped adipose. Caught a wild fish there on the snoscrummy last week & quickly released it. Don't make a comment if you don't know what you are talking about.

12/29/2012 8:56:00 AMCouple things. I changed the species, location, and rating. Once the report gets posted the only way to fix it is to contact us (support@washingtonlakes.com) and we'll fix. Next - I saved and zoomed in the picture and it's an obvious clipped fish.Pictures can be pretty ambiguous sometimes, we really need to give the benefit of the doubt unless it's cyrstal clear. If it was, the picture would be taken down. But it isn't. Nice Pig! Realfisherman, you look familar, it's going to drive me nuts now...
