Got onto the Sammamish River around 10am and started to fly fish near the Woodinville Wilmot Gateway Park. Worked my way passed Bear Creek and caught the first rainbow (5-6 inches) of the year on my hand-made olive/red Woolley-bugger .Another fly fisherman that I talked to caught some small Pike Minnows on the same stretch. Water flow and clarity was awesome and the company of other fisherman was very pleasant.
Cheers and Tight Lines.
