Took the afternoon off to hit the river when the temps were not subfreezing. Fished above Fall City from 1:30pm to 3pm. Beautiful day, but the wind was really ripping. I took my float gear, but barely used it as the wind made it nearly impossible to get a good drift in my location. Spent most of the time trying my hand and casting/drifting spoons. Tried various sizes, shapes, and colors,, but only resulted in losing one piece of hardware. Saw a few other people fishing, but not catching. Covered about 1/4 - 1/3 mile of water. Would have been peaceful if it were not for the miserable wind. At least it wasn't below freezing too!
