well today was a ok day i arrived at about 7am and waited till around 730ish to head down to the river on my 3rd cast bam bobber down huge 12 plus pound bright steelhead jumped like 3 times and fought for about 5 min till she finally broke me off i was pissed so i decided to tie up another jig and keep it going well a long story short all my homemade jigs work that i made last night all pink and dark purple i had a total 7 take downs 4 hookups and either got broke off or just got off after 30 sec or so lots of fish just couldnt bank one but still a good day river also gone up about a foot since last week and with rain in the forecast for the next few days it will continue so by thurs fishing should be great
