Tried out my new livingston for my first time up the slough for some trout and pike minnow. In about 2 seconds trolling I had a fish nail my lure but then nothing after that. Fishing picked up after bothell landing, and I got some nice hits but could bring them in. Later in woodinville my friend was slaying these fish, he caught pike minnows, a cutthroat, and in about 4 inches of water he caught a very nice cutthroat. On the way back my frined caught a huge pike minnow, the biggest ive seen. Just before leaving woodinville my battery died, and it was gettting dark. It took us over 3 hours in the pitch dark rowing back and hearing tons of beavers splash there tails and bats everywhere. Finaly we got back around 11:30. It was a very stetchy boat ride in the dark!
