left the house at 0100 and got to the river at 0230. Started wading in the water with my buddies down to his fishin hole.
got there around 0330 and took a nap on the beach. 0430 comes around and other fisherman started coming in. Met some people from steelhead university. Everyone there including us were using bobber and eggs.
I managed to get the first hook up of the day nice bright chrome wild hen. back into the river she went. Next up the girl from SU hooked up with a wild nook. back in it went. Then it was slow. from that point on.
at that point me and my group went back up stream to hit the previous holes we passed on the way down. First hole back. nothing. Second. BAMMM!! fish on. hooked into 4 landed them, and whaddayaknow WILD!!! The three of us had a good time, but unfortunately no fish were harmed today.
And on a side note. Treading through knee high water downstream and back up about 1 1/2 miles both ways is no joke

Just for your info it is still illegal to wade in the river begore fishing time starts glad u didnt get caught but keep it in mind

never realized it was illegal to wade in the river before fishing time starts. can you provide me the link or the page on the rules pamphlet where it says that. Thank you
