8/7/2013 5:51:00 PMI've used them for quite a while for winter steelhead. I use the kind that come connected in a string together so you can pull off one or two for clear water conditions or a bunch for dirty. I'm sure they don't get as many bites as using the real deal egg clusters, but they're a lot less mess and work... and I'm lazy so that's a huge plus for me.
