Went out to the Skagit again yesterday and plunked at the spud bar. I am happy to report that I got my first 2013 pink! I was the only fisherman (that I could tell) that caught a fish while I was there. About 4:30-7 PM. I must have been doing something right with my presentation or something. Small sand shrimp with a pink/silver wing bobber and a small off-white corky with a bead between them. 4-5' 10lb maxima ultragreen leader. I strung the shrimp out onto the line a bit for a more natural look while everybody else was just balling them up on the hook.

That looks more like a Sockeye or Coho than a Pink. Anyway, really nice fish!

Thanks guys! I appreciate it! It is definitely not a Coho, though. This fish's tail had spots all over it and it had tiny scales. I have caught and seen enough of them to know the difference. Probably just a trick of the light. Picture was taken with a cell phone.
