Met up with a buddy after work for my first try of the season for the Snohomish river pinks. We put in at Langus about 4.30 and headed up stream to the slough. spotted a few fish jumping and then watched a kid land a fish from a dock, then his dad had one on, then two others had them on.
Next was our turn, my buddy first with a nice 3-4lb hen then I hooked one and it put up quite a struggle and I boated a 4lb+ buck. This was a nice fish to christen my new lamiglass with.
The folks on the dock got a couple more then with the wind kicking up we had to head in. Only fished for a little over an hour but it was well worth it.
