So what does a guide do on his day off? Fish of course! Got our very own nate from nate treat's guide service to come out and play on the sky and snohomish with me today, and I gotta say the dude slays! We started kind of slow but as the day wore on we hooked just about every species in the river. I catch a humpy, he catches a humpy, I catch a really nice king jack, he counters with a good thick cutthroat. And then a lot more humpies! It was a great day, and the start of my first vacation in 7 years. Thanks nate for the good times. And anyone thinking about doing a trip, he will get you into fish until your arms beg for mercy! Sorry no photos but nate has some video of some of the highlights that I hope to see. Oh, and the best part, I'm floating again tomorrow
