Got to the Snohomish river around 1pm. There was a spot open next to a very kind lady who graciously let me fish next to her. About 6 cast in jigging a home made squid squirt on quarter ounce jighead it was fish on. Landed a nice buck. 5 min later hooked a small hen and released her. 10 min later hooked another hen which was released. Lost about 3 fish at the bank within an hour. My last 5 min of fishing before heading to the dentist I landed the last buck! Overall a great fishing day with lots of action! Wish the best to everyone and TIGHT LINES!

Thanks OneShot. Ya, the action is definately picking up! Some folks were telling me that this isnt even the "BIG" run yet. BTW I have watched a few of your youtube post... THEY ARE AWESOME!!

You should release bucks and keep hen for eggs. Coho, steelhead and king will all hit the right cured humpy eggs. That's all humpies all really good for and of course they are lots of fun to catch!

I usually do RiverHunter but these hens were small. If I'm gonna keep a hen for her eggs I want some meat on those bones to go with it. But thanks for the reminder. I keep forgetting that fall is right around the corner.
