So I went fishing on the 20th and the 21st after work at Thomas Eddy to try my luck, and of course all the people using Dick Nite's were catching all the fish. I'm also not sure why all the Russian's are catching all the fish.I have nothing against those guys, just putting that out there. I seen one Russian guy snag a fish and not throw it back. That's just not fair for the fish.
But yesterday I went to Ted's in lynnwood to pick up my dick nite gear, and of course still no luck. I have a 1/2 ounce sliding weight on my main line then a snap swivel followed by about 4 ft of 8lb test line with my 50/50 copper brass dick nite. Its a pretty basic setup and I didn't have any pencil led weights so that's why I'm using the slider weight. I'm just still working on the depth and retrieval method. Someone told me to let it fall for only a few seconds and then retrieve slowly. U don't want it to hit the bottom, you want it to be just a few feet from the bottom. And also I really appreciate the advise from you fellow fisherman on checking out Ted's and those Dick Nite seminar videos. If you guys have any more advice please share it with me. Instead of dick nite use corky and yarn in pink, black, or peach. Simple method and same rigging but instead let it bounce of bottom until you feel a tug or suddenly stop, set the hook and fish on. PS don't set to hard pinks have soft mouths

dick nites will slay if fished right.. nice and close to the bottom with a slow slow slow retrieve.. helps to sometimes add 6 to 10inches leader drop on your weight.. so your dick nite hovers off the bottom a little better.. most importantly fish slow and on the bottom
