Great day on the river. I only posted a 3 star because I only caught 1, but my buddy caught 2 and the guy next to us caught 3...all in about 2 hours. This looks like the front end of the pink salmon run but it's getting more consistent for sure. Caught 2 hens and a buck. All on pink jigs/yarn. The guy that caught 3 was using a pink buzz bomb - I think the fact that he could cast out so far in the river was a big help to him getting 3 in an hour (he arrived about an hour after us).
