This report is from tuesday outing,fished monroe area from 4pm to 630pm with my dad and cousin,trowing jigs was the key,we get to my fav hole and it was empty i was surprise,good for us since its my cousins first time fishing,since he was still hesitant to make a cast and afraid he might end up losing our gear he make a deal with me that i will try to catch a fish and he will be responsible to reel it in,so on to the fishing when we were setting up i survey the water and it was quit some rolling but not a bunch as i was expected.throw my first cast with out any expectation and a little shake on the tip of my rod as i like to do them bam fish on and as agreed i handed the rod to my cousin and he did a good job on landing that fish,smiles,laughter and high five was in the air then 5 min. later dad hook up but lost it.then all sudden quit for bout 1/2 hour hit here and there.then thunderstorm broke out and rain started to pou but didnt stay long. A moment later fish rolling and jumping schools after shools after schools,men it was one of those days that every other cast hook up.lost count of fish c/r,keep 8, we even have doubled 3 time.it was a fun day and now i got a new angler hook on fishing.have fun and be safe guys.
