Man oh Man! My arms are tired today!! JPJAMES and I went to the Sky today praying for rain and thunder...all we got was a boat load of Pink Salmon!

Got to the river around 430/5, fishing was slow, finally got one to the bank, but it was snagged, snapped a picture real fast and sent him on his way! We thought it was going to be a slow day of fishing, but hey, its better than working...

Not sure what happened but all of a sudden there was a ton of pinks in our spot. Kept hooking them left and right, most of them ended up getting snagged some how. Whether they shook the hook out and it grabbed a fin, or when setting the hook it went out of one mouth and into another's tail, it made for a fun day of landing and releasing!

THEN as the sun set a little more and it became dusk, they started striking HARD! Jpjames was landing a tail hook that ran upstream into a bunch of other anglers, and I mouth hooked and landed two bucks. He got back from his trek upstream and started landing them too! Ended up getting our limits right as the last ounce of sun went away! 2 hens and 6 bucks I would guess 8-9# for the big guy!!

THIS IS WHAT FISHING SHOULD BE LIKE!!!!

P.S. some people didnt like how revealing some of our river fishing pictures have been, so I made sure to just show the fish and Jpjames's ugly mug!

Indeed they are Oneshot :) It's more an issue of limited parking and limited beach front, and everyone whom I've seen down there always wants to keep it quiet - so I guess more than anything it's just respecting those fellow anglers. As per this time of year though, it doesn't matter where you are! Fun times.
