Three of us went out to the snohomish a couple miles down stream of the HWY 9 bridge. we got there a little later than we had hoped for (7:15 AM) right about at high tide. the spot we staked out was occupied by a couple and they had already landed 6 fish by then so we decided to wait a few minutes while they limited for the day so we got started fishing by probably 7:45 AM. Unfortunately, the fishing slowed almost to a halt as soon as we got in the water but a few hours later we had a couple landed and some awesome battles, and by about 2:30 we left with 5 fish - including a giant bull. my buddy lost 7 and I lost two, but it was tons of fun and the fishing is really picking up. I would recommend going for 3/8 oz jigs so you can get it out further in the stream.
