Good day on the river but slower than it's been recently. Hooked up with a big humped buck within 5 minutes and was going to let it go when it snapped the line as I was reaching to take the hook - swam off with a big jig in his jaw. Pulled in a couple more and released them also.

Didn't have any keepers today but my buddy caught 5 down river and kept 3 and the fella next to me caught two bright hens as I was packing up. They're out there still...I just didn't get any worth keeping today!
