So this is going to be a multiple location report. So Saturday morning me and a newbie fisherman went out to try some new areas.. his idea. So we started our morning by douglas bar and it was packed and the tide was still on its way out.
Peaople were catching fish off the bank but there just wasnt any room. So he decided we go check out some roads along the snohomish river but we ended up getting chased off a property or two because he thought that it would be a good place to fish. So after about 1 hour to 2 hours of driving we ended up in snohomish on the river front trail. walked the whole trail and even crossed the bridge to check out the other side of the river. Not a whole lot being caught in the town of snohomish. Then he proceded to take me to langus park and try our luck there. It seemed promising enough but the fish just werent biting. I could see waves of fish coming in at about 11:00am one guy managed to get two pinks and one very nice coho. His reel broke so we had to get a new one witch took 3 hours. after that we went to the stiliguamish river and fishing at most of the spots on the bank were dry. No fish at all. So after fishing the stilli for a good couple hours we ended up back in snohomish at thomas eddy. as soon as we get there its fish on. Got a nice hen that fought me for a good 15min and some eggs. So all in all the snohomish river at thomas eddy is a great place right now useing pink jigs.. squid or feather. So all in all I ended up catching only one fish the whole day. and my friend cought none :( Thanks for listening to my venting. fish on and stay safe!!!
