Nice evening on the river, not to crowded where I was at upriver from the treatment plant. Missed a lot of fish early on, leader kept snapping so I ditched the leader and just starting cutting mainline to use for leader.
30 minutes later I had hooked 7 fish. A few humped bucks, two nice shiny Pink hens, and one VERY fresh hen Coho, about 8lbs. Egg skeins were smaller than the pinks I took home, but the freshness of that fish made up for it bigtime!
Fought one other fish in that time that was at least that big or bigger, but it made a big splash and spit the hook back at me.
All in all a good night!
