Well, tried the skok for silvers after school today with my dad. Hooked an old zombie king (as seen in the picture), and my dad landed the first silver of the season for us. Saw one other silver on the bank, one guy hooked one that must've been at least 12lb. The silvers seem fairly small so far, 4-6lbs, hoping for 10-12's sometime soon. Went on opening day last Sunday, and only saw four silvers landed. Not very good so far, but hooked an early chum last Sunday and a bunch of old kings. The silver my dad got was pretty nice for a start, chrome little 5lb. Hen. I'll be out there tomorrow, hopefully this rain will flush out the kings and bring in some fresh silvers.
Till next time, I'll see ya out there and tight lines,
Steamboatfishslayer
