Well the Samish river is in Whatcom county, not Skagit per the report form mods!

Spent the entire day on the river, wading from I-5 all the way to the big farm building. The fish have left the building.

There were a couple, but not catchable. Very few people as well.

I'm wondering why fishing above I-5 is closed. Can anybody explain that?

On the plus side, now that I've scouted the river, ITS ON FOR NEXT YEAR!!! But don't bother driving to fish the Samish now, unless you're local or something.
