well went out to the Snohomish close to the 522 bridge, everybody around me was catching fish but I didnt even get a bite. was trying every pink jig that I could find in my tackle box, no luck. I tried to fish spoons but didnt have the set up correct.

fished from about 630-1100 and nothing to show for it. I think I need some help as this is only my second time fishing for salmon of any kind. any ideas? feel free to send me a message.

Hey Litch 25 - You and I are in the same boat. I'm new to Washington, and have fished the Snohomish three times. Came home empty handed all three times. But I've been talking to guys and asking lots of questions. Everyone I've talked to has been great, and I truly believe that I have my setup right now. Hang in there, I know it's frustrating.

Try a 1/8 ounce pink jig under a float, put a little piece of prawn on it and set your depth to within a foot of the bottom and wait for your float to disappear. Humpy on!

well 1st thing is that we are getting close to the end of pink run lots of fish still in the system but getting ready to spawn,u can still catch some that willing to take ur offering but it wont be a quick fishing you need to spend more time for a fish, everybody is switching to coho fishing now.i usually like just jig tied straight to my line drift it a bit on the bottom and lightly twitching that's been working for me,or jig under a float like what iliketofish2 said.but the main thing is the more you get out there the more you learn and the more you be successful on landing fish.good luck and have fun.
