So got up late, left at 7:30 and then just as we get to monroe i figured out that i forgot my eggs in the fridge, so went back to the house, got the eggs and started fishin at the hatchery around 9, nothing in the cedar hole, got 4 humpies foat fishing eggs in the may creek hole, didnt walk to the sherman hole so we left and went under the bridge. Nothing, moved to a spot that i know of that has like 4 nice holes, in the first hole i was fishin for about 25 min without a thing, then my bobber goes under and i set the hook and i knew it wasnt a humpie, my brother grabs the net and i was just about to swing it onto the bank and the hook pops out:( so kept fishin 20 min later hooked another one and this one was huge and wouldnt stop running upstream, he popped off across the river. so i go up fish the other 3 holes and come back down to the first one and after about 5 casts with my fire cured eggs my float goes down 1 more time and i set the hook and i yell FISH ONN! and a few min later my dad nets my 7.9lb hatchery buck! Well got the skunk off for coho and ran out of eggs, i need to get a hen and cure some eggs up! Ill be back out next weekend! saw about 5 others landed and a bunch of snaggers
