Stopped by Ell to try out a new rod. Fished from shore... tough casting due to windy conditions. Did manage to get two fish (16" and 18"), one on a crystal bugger, the second on a black and red wooly bugger.

A few folks were out on the lake, but I didn't see any fish being caught. Highly recommend fishing from a tube or boat and casting in towards weeds along the shore. If you are fishing from shore it can be tough with all the weeds.

side note: Fished Wannacut... very windy, fish small, not nearly as good as last year.
